Welcome to Ancora Counseling

Ancora Counseling is somewhat unique in that it provides marriage preparation for individuals and couples in more than 15 Catholic Parishes in the Detroit Metropolitan area.

Ancora’s passion for providing marriage preparation services extends beyond those who are members of the Catholic Church. We also provide marriage preparation for couples who have a different religious affiliation, or none at all.

In addition to marriage preparation, Ancora Counseling provides a variety of counseling services. Ancora believes that every person has intrinsic worth and value.

At times in ours lives, our worth and value may seem absent. We may feel hopeless and helpless in the depths of depression, or find ourselves afraid and our minds racing with anxiety. We can get caught in the downward spiral of addiction, or wonder what happened to the powerful love we use to feel in our marriage.

All of those personal trials and hardships try to convince us that we have no value; that we are worthless. The counseling process helps restore your personal worth and value. It helps get you back on track to wholesome, responsible and grateful living.
