Education and Licensure
Ancora therapists have a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Guidance and Counseling. Each staff member is licensed and/or certified by the State of Michigan. Some staff are certified by the State of Michigan as addictions professionals.
Agnieszka (Agnes) Janney, M.A., TLLP, RBTAgnes earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Michigan-Dearborn and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Michigan School of Professional Psychology. She has 5-year experience in the field of Autism, particularly in ABA therapy. Agnes is fluent in the Polish language. She currently works both with individuals struggling with various mental disorders (inpatient and outpatient) and couples therapy (marital and pre-marital). |

Kathleen Daley, M.A., L.P.C.Kathleen Daley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Michigan and has 22 years experience working as a therapist in a variety of settings including private practice and Community Mental Health. Kathleen received her Master of Art degree from Eastern Michigan University in Guidance and Counseling. Kathleen provides counseling for individuals and couples. |

Julia V. Kline, LMSW, CAADCJulia Kline has been working in the field of mental health since 2004, providing individual and group therapy services. She has worked extensively with adults experiencing various presenting concerns including addictions, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and personality disorders. She has conducted group therapy specializing in Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Co-Occurring Disorders. Additionally she has facilitated an Art Therapy group. Ms. Kline graduated with her Masters of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2004 and is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Michigan. She is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, incorporating various treatment approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). |

Joe T, Manuszak, A.C.S.W., C.S.W.Mr. Manuszak earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Michigan. He majored in Psychology for his Bachelor’s degree and Social Work for his Master’s degree. Mr. Manuszak has worked on psychiatric and medical units at several metro Detroit hospitals. He has provided outpatient therapy and marriage preparation to parishioners from many Catholic parishes. |

Jason S. Newberry, LMSWMr. Newberry completed his undergraduate education in Psychology through Grand Valley State University. He earned his Master's Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. Since graduating in 2004, he has been working at a Mental Health agency in Livingston County. In this setting Mr. Newberry has worked with people who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD.) His specialization is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder. Since 2005, Mr. Newberry has been working providing outpatient therapy and marriage preparation in Metro Detroit. |

Gary J. Zilli, MA, CAADCMr. Zilli earned his Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University in 1977. He became a certified Rational Behavior Therapist in 1982, and a certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist in 2006. In 2006, Mr. Zilli earned his certification as an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Mr. Zilli retired as a U.S. Probation Officer in 2008 after 33 years of service. In that capacity he worked 20 of those years in a specialized unit supervising individuals with substance abuse problems and chemical dependency. Mr. Zilli has been conducting the marriage preparation since 2006. He presently works at Eastwood Community Clinics as a therapist. |

Pam Patchak-Schuster, LMSWPam earned her BA in Psychology at Oakland University in 1987 and MSW from MSU in 1991. She started her career with runaway and adjudicated adolescents before spending 10 years as a substance abuse counselor. She spent 9 years working in disability rights, and for the past 10 years has worked in medical home care and hospice. She joined the marriage prep team in 2017. She has volunteered for many years with refugee resettlement. |
